Spectacle II

This artwork by Singaporean artist Terence Teo is part of his “Rainforest” series of paintings.
It depicts trees standing strong in the cold of the winter. The strength and resolve of these subjects from nature is brought across with the depiction of strong ink lines.

Living and working in Singapore, Terence Teo is moved by the different seasons and intrigued by the
ways in which they leave their marks on nature. He experiences these weathers and seasons during his travels to places such as Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and China. Upon returning to Singapore, he expresses these observations via his ink paintings.
