Pair of Partridges

This beautiful painting depicts a pair of partridges on the river bank during the autumn season. The artist is meticulous in every subject illustrated in this piece. The flower petals, the feather of the birds, the leaves and ripples of water were all finely painted with care and deliberation.

This painting was done by 58 year old Chinese artist Dai Jia Feng who is famous for his paintings of birds, flowers and still life objects. He is currently an art educator in the masters programme at The school of art of Soochow University and member of the China Artists Association.
