Fu Qiang believes that the formation of a composition is a balance of multiple aspects. They include the direct capturing of things seen in daily life, and memories from the past. Both of which are nicely brought together with the artist’s emotions and feelings while painting. In this artwork, viewers observe the depiction of a small town along a lake with mountains in the background. The impressionistic style of painting this scenery reflects the artist’s objective of conveying his sentiments and memory of the scenic location in the shortest time possible. Perhaps, this method of communication is to him, the most helpful and effective.
