This painting by Fu Qiang reflects his close relation and deep feelings for the changing of the seasons at Anhui province. There are clear changes to the trees and lands atop mountains with winter fast approaching. With the masterly integration of different shades of silver in the middle and background as well as touches of brown to depict trees in the foreground, Fu Qiang forges a chilly ambience of the late autumn season in the mountains.
Fu Qiang is a professor at the Anhui University School of Arts and member of the China Oil Painting Society. His oil painting, 《春⻛又绿》was once selected to be exhibited at the 8th National Exhibition of Fine Arts, China and was awarded the second prize at the Anhui Province oil painting competition.
