Enduring Stream

This artwork by Singaporean artist Terence Teo is a rare painting from his “waterfall” series. A combination of various brushstrokes was utilized to complete this painting. One of which includes the dry brush technique, creating a rugged texture on the paper. The other includes thin lines drawn vertically without hesitation, formulating a stream of water that is steadily flowing downwards. All of these marks were then layered with complementary colours such as yellow, white, and jade green to further accentuate the calming presence of a waterfall. Overall, this is a well executed painting by Terence Teo.
