Marvin Chew is well known for this watercolour paintings of street scenes in Singapore. Most of Marvin’s works are painted ‘live’ on location, it gives him the opportunity to feel the ambience and to observe the lighting and shades. The emotions felt from this
process would then be expressed with fitting colours and unhesitant brushstrokes.

Marvin Chew has held 4 solo exhibitions. In 2016, Marvin participated in Singapore Art Society’s Annual Exhibition. In 2017, Marvin participated in “Commemorating NS50 Through Art”, a series of exhibitions held in conjunction of 50th Anniversary of National Service in Singapore, jointly organised by Singapore Art Society and Singapore Armed Forces.
